A 7 wood? Is that like a 4 iron or 4 hybrid loft wise?

I basically hit my 7w, 4h and 4i the same distance.

Currently the 4i is in the bag and the 7w in my father in law's garage!

Same here. My 7-wood has 22° of loft,my 4 Hybrid 25° (I think, could be 24°). Not sure about the 4 iron (hardly ever use it). But because I hit the 7 wood with a bit more of a sweeping motion and hit slightly down on the hybrid, I suppose the dynamic loft is about the same. They both go pretty high up relatively quickly (higher than my 6iron, for example), but due to the bigger head and longer shaft they also give me a relatively good distance. I have both the 7 wood and the hybrid in my bag at the moment, even though I could probably easily do with just one of them. I prefer the 7 wood off the fairway, but use the hybrid anywhere else (I play a tight course ... there is a lot of "else" ...)

I borrowed my dad's 7 wood for a while. It was occasionally pretty good but hugely inconsistent so I ended up buying a 4 hybrid instead. Slightly more reliable (but not much).

Sadly though, no straighter than you hit the 7w. 🤣

Doesn't matter, you'll always Notice a slice in a driver but rarely in a two inch putt.

We have a guy in our roll up whose nickname is 7 wood Norm. It is his most used club after the putter.
