Nope, that's weird.

There is always some tihing new, no matter how long you play the game.

Whether the 'new' is bollox or not is a different question.

I was given this tip when playing out of fairway bunkers. Focus on the front of the ball and it encouraged almost a thin contact which is good for picking the ball off the sand.
