Anyone recommend me a 12 degree driver? Not really after adjusability, my driving is shocking so looking to add more loft to reduce side spin.
And yes I have a lesson booked.

I picked up my Cleveland Classic 12 degree for a bargain price and if it was not for my GM/Adams freebie clubs I would happily have kept it in the bag. Bought mine new for £60.00

They do the driver you (.... And I) have in a 13.5°.

The shaft does change from the Speeder to a Bassara from memory.

Don't know what you want to spend etc, but here are a few to look at. There are loads on ebay. The third one on the list looks particularly interesting

I'd consider a 14 degree driver if it straightens me out, not looking to spend more than £100

Golf Depot are doing SLDR S in 12 degree, brand new. £80.

I don't think loft would instantly straighten you out. But stick the SLDR into full draw mode and might help.

No doubt you'll know but if you have a severe out-to-in path, then a draw based driver will only change your start direction and lessen the curve a bit.

Best draw-based driver remains the Ping K15, but if your lesson straightens you out, you don't have adjustability like the SLDR to change the weights as per your swing needs.

Wrong flex unfortunately m or x, I've more an over the top swing at times, starts left and goes left, really have to concentrate to stop it with the driver, sometime I overcompensate and put a wicked fade on it, don't have this issue with my other clubs. Mini driver is nice but it's 20 yards behind my driver and I'm not the longest as it is.

Sorry to pick this apart (but I'm going to anyway :D).

You send it left and bend it further left (Out-to-in, face closed to path)
You then 'overcompensate'. By doing what?
This turns to 'wicked' fades (out-to-in, face open to path)

So, you have shown that you can change club face at impact, but this isn't hard- you can just open or close the face at address.

But you don't seem to be able to change path, which is admittedly mega challenging.

You are looking for a HL driver, which may reduce spin somewhat, but won't change your path.

I'd wait for that lesson before buying another driver.

Unless I'm picking you up wrong.

if I come over the top which I do sometimes, the clubface is pointing left, it goes mostly striaght left, trying to compensate I come to much from the inside and I guess it's more of a push out to the right with an open face.
As I said I've got a lesson booked, but I do want to experiment with a 460cc driver in 12/14 as my mini driver goes straight albeit 20 yards shorter (and I'm no long hitter)
tbh I may drop the mini driver as my 5w gets it out there too.

I had bad driver issues a year or so back and went for a fitting and ended up with a 14degree r15 transformed my driving....untill the new year with swing changes ect and started getting better ball contact.

To be honest, that is a hell of a bargain

If you can get hold of a Ping G10 you won't find a much better driver, it's the only club I've ever regretted selling and I've never hit any better.

Hovis had a 12* SLDR head and I think separate shaft for sale, the heads I think were only £40, you could pick a shaft you specifically want then and you've got your perfect driver 👍
