The advantages of being HID...:o
I have just cleaned 2 pairs of muddy, grassy shoes in my kitchen sink
the irons are in there now, and am poking the gunk out of the grooves with some cocktail sticks

would your HID thump you for doing this?

I had to clean out my GoKart wheels today in the kitchen sink. Absolutely caked in mud they were, haven't used it for a good month or so and what mud was in the treads had to be chiselled out with a knife and a scrubbing brush. Made a right old mess. Never got to use it in the end either!

You're missing a trick Rob, take the trolley out for a few holes, get the mud nice and wet. Then when you get back to the club house use the air pressure shoe cleaner thingy to clean your wheels......that's what I do, makes very short work of it and no mess....or none that you need to clean up anyway. If you don't have a pressurised air machine thingy then move clubs to one that does!

If you had seen the state of it mate, you would have been too embarrassed to get it out of the car it was filthy. Or the wheels were. Last time I used it was at Lindfield, and I'm sure that the paths there are made out of bloody wet concrete. Shite gets everywhere. Normally when I play with it, the mud doesn't stick to the wheels. It was gross. But it's nice and clean now. So are my shoes. Never got to use any of my gear today, it was that crap.

Na my wife's fine about stuff like that as long as I clean up afterwards.
She does get worried when I ask if i can take my clubs to bed with us :o
Putter might be up there tonight:p :o

Likewise, mainly because she'll say "Whilst you're in the kitchen could you give the counter a wipe over and empty the dishwasher, oh and you might as well stick some dinner on as well"

She does get a bit pissed off though when I put the brillo pad I have been using back with her pads and mix them up so she doesn't know which one I have scrubbed geese shite out of my grooves with.

Aye - me and the big man are celebrating 18 long years together today. He played well today so might want to take his clubs to bed, if he does - i'm taking mine too ;)

Well, she's never resorted to physical violence but I am sure I'd get 'the look'...

Can't say I blame her... She's had to put up with an awful lot in 36 years of wedded 'bliss'...

Definitely not. My lovely wife has polished two pairs of FJ's and cleaned the clubs and grips for me today. Well I am injured. To be honest she is pretty bang on about cleaning a lot of my gear so I'm very fortunate

No matter how well behaved they have been...
Never felt the need to take my clubs to bed... Kiss 'em goodnight, maybe...
i just gave mine a wee hug ;)
all clean, grooves and numbers cleaned out
manky headcovers and towels are in the machine
kitchen is disgusting, but the big man will clean it for me before i cook our anniversary meal.
Now, should i get changed out of my golf clothes for our big meal? Is it a 'desirable' look?? :D
