Good luck with the target - one thing to practice is chipping and short game - back-garden useful here - can put you into one putt territory if you stick at it.
 
Like people have already said, practice your short game and putting more and you should break that 100 in no time. I'm pretty new to the game myself having only played 7 rounds, but before I started instead of just going to the driving range I spent some time in my back garden chipping and on the practice greens putting and it payed off. My first 2 rounds were both 90's followed by a few slightly worse rounds but nothing worse than a 99 and the last 2 times i've played have been 85's. I also can get in trouble of the tee, so rarely use a driver and that practice probably saves me a shot a hole from what I would be scoring had I just concentrated on the range. If your spending 2-3 days a week there give one of them up and work on your short game.
