It all seems to be coming together nicely. Even more so as I've just found the nearest Wetherspoons ... 51-57 Chertsey Rd, Woking, Surrey GU21 5AJ, to be just a short walk from Woking Central Travel Lodge..... so, as I don't fancy back-to-back Curry nights, that's where I'll be on the Sat night from about 7pm, though that depends on the journey down & of course the nights will be putting-in down the 'Deep South'

Maybe come down the M40 and come off at Wycombe and go down the 404 towards the M4 then onto to Bracknell and Wokingham ?

I use that section of the M25 very often and it will be fine Dave, it moves along ok as they regularly have speed restrictions which keeps it moving well, its only a few junctions around so its best imo to stick to the M40/M25.
