Trying to put up the H4H "Guess the drives" spreadsheet. Can't get Excel spreadsheet to work or word document. The screen just bunches all the columns together. Does anyone know how
I can put the page up and what format to use?

Yes, I want to have the guesses listed so that everyone can see them. I have put them on a spreadsheet but they won't transfer onto the thread without jumbling up all the names and numbers. Also tried from a word document, but it still jumbles everything up

if you highlight and copy the cells, you should then be able to paste into a thread. I just tried it with a works spreadshhet and it worked.

That's what we have been trying, but with no luck. The pasting looks fine, but when we go 'advanced' it appears as a tiny little box. On word it merges all the columns into one which makes it very hard to read. I will let my daughter try tomorrow on her computer as it may be my settings/excel document that are causing the problem. As you can probably guess I am not great with computers !! Thanks for helping.

Hi Richard, If you select the columns in the Excel spreadsheet and "copy" them, you can use the "Paste from Word" button which is available in the "advanced" posting options. This will vreate a table in the post and put your data in it. I did this when I created the CHGC Day payment thread.

Thanks for that Anthony, Vicky thinks she can now get it sorted, as long as I don't try and help.

email it to me if you want, i can fix it as a pdf and you or i can host on photobucket as a fixed image.

lemme know.

Hi,

Still not able to copy and paste over. Can get the excel columns to show, but as soon as I put the figures in it goes all peculiar. Can I email the spreadsheet to you, once we have it on, I should then be able to add to it.
