I put the deadline on to try and get everyone up to bid. I can extend this as we now have the ball rolling. Many thanks for the first bid. I think if you wanted to play in one of their opens you would have to pay £75, if that helps to gauge what to bid. Prestbury is a top 100 course and used to be an open qualifier course.

I’ve booked to play in a Senior open at Prestbury next year and you are correct £70 .

Oooops, I've had a snoooze this afternoon, as I'm calling Bingo tonight, it's a big responsibility I can tell you. The players take it VERY seriously. I made a slight mistake last time and I thought they were going to lynch me. Anyhoo. Many many thanks for those who have bid on this. The girls are chuffed it's gone for £180!!! (it was just going to be a raffle prize!) The winner is a member of Clitheroe Golf Club. Just for info.

Phew. Just back from the bingo. I have a few beers and joke around with everyone playing. We've had a great time. Most tables won something, either bingo or raffle. Guesstimate on total raised tonight was about £1500. Not bad from a standing start three weeks ago.

The bloke in who we are attempting to raise the money for is in hospital at the moment. It's a rush job to raise the money.
