Help i cant stop my early release!

Hi everyone, sorry I have had to start a new account as my old one has gone haywire! basically was at the pros today and he says I have a really early release of the club which is loosing me alot of power. Have any of you guys got any tips to fix an early release or any advice?

Had that problem when i was about 13 or so, then I took up golf. What did the doct....er pro say.

I would suggest putting something such as a ball or headcover approx 8 - 12 inches behind the ball and try and miss it when playing the shot. There are a number of causes for losing the angle between your lead arm and the club early in the swing. Any chance of putting a video of your swing on here for us to look at? May help give you a relevant drill to help you.

go to the range and hit 50 balls from the very back of your stance (right foot) with a mid iron... bet u cant release before u hit that ball! will give u a good feel for how you should strike it
