Help For Heroes Auction items

GoKart trolley arrived today. Red top of the range automatic one. Might have to have a bid on it myself, for when I get too old to carry.

OK..... today's good news is that I've managed to secure a 4 ball voucher from the very generous people at The Centurion. Prepare to get bidding.....

Normally you cant play unless accompanied by a member, but they've made an exception for this one.

Today's second bit of good news is that Mike has offered an amazing, once in a lifetime auction prize........

Become GM editor for a day!!!!

Further details to follow, but basically the winning bidder will occupy Mikes office at GM Towers for the day, meet the award winning GM team, take editorial decisions, go for lunch with the team, (soft drinks only, naturally as I don't believe they drink much..), and then a few drinks afterwards......possibly a few fruit based cocktails.... ;)

Mike's also prepared to pay for reasonable travel costs and overnight accommodation if required.

So all of you that posted on the "what would you do if you were editor for a day" thread.........now's your chance to make your wishes come true......terms and conditions apply, always read the small print!!! :D

Sounds like a cracker of an item... do we get the salary for the day as well?:) Second this to the "Be a Porn Star for the day" auction which I am desperately going to try and stay up for !! ;)

I'm gutted :( would totally have bidded on Be Mike for a day especially as I started the original thread, but we are in the process of trying to move house and money is seriously tight. Whoever wins the bidding on that is going to have an awesome day.

Very, very well played Mike

I've got the very pair of pants that I wore when I won the Cooden Centenary Betterball with Richart.
They are in a bit of a state as I was crapping myself coming down the 18th thinking we were in with a shout, and I believe I was playing "trumpet voluntary" as I walked off the final green.
But other than that they are ok.

 I am surprised that Cooden didn't ask for the pants to be framed, and put in pride of place. Now I know why you kept your waterproof trousers on even when the sun came out.

Rather than add to the main H4H thread, thought I would start a new one for details of items to be auctioned.

So far we have sold four balls at Liphook, Farnham, and West Surrey, and currently we have the following to auction over the next few weeks.

Bramley
Chart Hills
Cooden Beach
Coombe Hill
Kenilworth
Newbury and Crookham
Slaley Hall
The Army
The Berkshire (including lunchtime carvery)
Tandridge
West Hill

Hope you will agree that there is a good selection of courses on offer, and if I have left any off, please add to this thread.

Hopefully Greg (GB72) will come on and list the items he has currently been promised. Anyone thinking of buying an electric trolley or cart bag may want to wait a while.

If any forumer has anything they think would make a good auction item, please give details on here. Most of the items will be initially put on the forum, and finished off by the auctioneer, Mark Head, on the big day. This means forumers not playing at West Hill still get a chance to bid.

Any queries just ask.

Rich

Rich, add a 4 ball voucher for Cuddington to your list, collected it this morning.
