Help For Heroes Auction items

This is the updated money list....currently standing at £17,656.50

Still waiting for some auction payments and other outstanding bits and bobs but they wont increase the total as Ive accrued for them in the section below what we have had paid on the charity site.

What will increase it is if those that took the Bragging rights & Brand Challenge submit their payments.

Also I have lots of photos left over that were being sold for a fiver on the day that people didnt have. I know some people left early so didnt get chance to pick one up so if those people would let me know, I'll get one posted to you. Also if anyone who did stay but didnt pay for one, it would be great if you could have one. Nick from GM and Duncan the Photographer went to a lot of trouble (and expense) to get them all printed off so we really ought to be buying them.
Its a nice momento of the day of your 4 ball and could get us to that £18K number....
Cheers
Rick

All the outstanding 4 ball vouchers have been sent out. Please pm me if you have not received the one you bought at the auction.

Quick update on the total..we've had a few more bet payments and the Vice-Captain from Aldwickbury Park took away a few wristbands and managed to raise £70 from members at APGC..(£87.50 inc gift aid)......

Total currently stands at £17,874 assuming the one remaining auction item is paid adding on gift aid.

Absolutely amazing job lads and lasses. I know the forum is sometimes a bit of a bearpit but when it pulls together it can do amazing things. Hopefully I'll be able to make next years event..

So some of you will have seen from the green fee voucher thread that we finally made the £18k mark......

£18,002.75 to be precise.

We've had some donations from jon25new, LIG and Slime this week to get us past the milestone.

Absolutely amazing job everyone who donated prizes and money.........give yourselves a huge pat on the back........We can finally relax now for at least a month before we start thinking about next years event.......

Well done everyone of you!!!  :whoo:

Hey Rick that's amazing.
All the donators should as you say be patted on the back.
You and all the organisers have done an amazing job,and your hard work has
certainly payed off,and the money has gone to a very worthy cause.
Its great news that the total of the previous year has been surpassed.
Get your deserved rest and good luck with next year.

That's amazing, everyone that helped in the arranging should take a well deserved rest and be proud of them self. Gutted I had to drop out, but the RAF decided they had somewhere else for me to be instead.

For those of you that do not have a direct link to current serving members of the armed forces, people do not realise how much these type of things mean to us in the Armed Forces. The people involved in this are not going to receive a knighthood or any kind of reward for their hard work, they are just doing it to show their support for the men and women of the UK that put their lives on the line for their country and the people at live in it. Trust me, when you are stuck in somewhere like Afghanistan it is always nice to know that the people back home have our back and are behind us.

Well said.

Was TG3 then TG4

Delighted to be finally done

Totally different outfit to when I first joined - no enjoyment from the job

Fed up with it also. AV Tech (ex leckie) here. I am out next June after 16 years. Less people, more responsibility and the constant crap has finally taken its toll. I always said as soon as I become bitter and twisted I'll be gone.

I got caught in the pension trap so just armed myself with as many qualifications as possible and tried to tailor my final years towards civilian life

It's a shame it say the grass is greener

Or the sand is browner as I am off to Eastern California to marry my fiancée and stay there as soon as I am out as the visa should be here around June time.
