Help 4 Heroes Auction Item 5. Golf Monthly Editor for a day

My 19 year old daughter is interested in this, but not sure she wouldn't be corrupted for life after a day in GM Towers. Mind you she would be a lot cheaper on food and drink than Swinger.:)

Rich, be happy to offer your daughter in for a proper day/week work placement on another occasion!

After seeing Mike on Monday evening prior to the Ping ProAm, I'm not sure that I could keep up on the beer intake, much less do a coherent speech the next morning!

Still got a feeling I was so ever politely mugged! Was good to see Rick had his finger on the pulse and following proceedings!

just to dispel any conspiracy theories....
I'd been given the go ahead to bid up to £350 by Tim of West Hill.....you and Tiger were bidding and I was leading at £275....then the auctioneer said third and final time.......I thought that Tim would be really pleased when I told him we hadnt gone to his full amount........then the hammer came down....I was then confused to see Kate walking over to you to get your details instead of coming over to me........speaking to others afterwards, I wasnt the only one that thought I was leading, so it looks like there was a genuine misunderstanding on the auctioneers part.....(I think it may have been because I was sitting directly behind you and he was looking at both of us)....

Anyway, thanks for allowing the auction to continue when we all realised there'd been a geniune error.......the charity benefitted from an extra £50 so it was worth it......

Tim was made up when I rang him to tell him he'd won...he's a lovely guy and is so looking forward to it.

Not a problem and was more than happy with the explanation on the day. As I said your smiling assasin face left me without a prize and yet somehow happy with how it had all gone. The fact that it went for £50 more is the icing on the cake and more than happy that it has gone to a good home. The way I partnered Mike I wasn't sure I'd get access to GM Towers even if I'd won.
