Noted on both counts, I'll pitch it at around the 40 mark for forumers plus guests and make the suggestion that they could potentially pull in some others from local units at Aldershot, Odiham and Worthy Down. That could mean around upto 60 players then a bit more buy in from the club and perhaps create a link between H4H and current serving/vets.

Good idea! Actually, my golf society CILT GS play out of here & Tidworth Garrison. I'll ask the Brigader General if he can pull a few strings. It's not the greatest track in Berkshire, but the food's good & the air displaay at Farnborough is woreth the entry

Little update one not so great one really good for whoever does organise this event.
1st the not so great. Despite my attempts to contact Army GC even from my MOD account , they’re not getting back to me. Even tried to call and leave msgs but nothing. So hopefully a venue is found soon.
Now for the good news and I think this superb. Went to PXG South London for a fitting today and was talking to the manager there about heroes discount and this H4H topic came up. He has offered up a prize to be raffled off with all the money raised going to charity and no proceeds to go to PXG at all:
A Secret Weapon Mini Driver, including fitting, any shaft and grip at his store in South London. I’ve got all his details he said all he needs is the date and location of the event and he will allocate the prize to H4H in the form of a voucher to be exchange and booked at the winners time of choosing. As before they will not take any of the proceeds the prize of FoC from PXG to the charity day

I’ve had a very nice response from David Harrison, Army GC Secretary. Unfortunately, they are full for the remainder of this season. In addition, he was sceptical whether they could accommodate our number in their somewhat compact clubhouse. We thought of Tidworth, however the quality isn’t up to standard for these events.
