Hello everybody,
A month ago I started working at a golf club, behind the bar in the club house. After talking with the pro and a few golfers in the bar, I started getting an itch.
I bought this months copy of GM to see what the crack was, and remembered my girlfriends father was into golf.
So today I bit the bullet and had my first experience of a golf course, after whacking balls up the field in my youth, and driving ranges in my late teens, here i was.
The course was just a short 9-hole one, par 3 on all (one of which I managed! Plenty of slicing and miss hitting, but towards the 8th and 9th I was starting to get the ball off of the floor at the drive
So thoroughly bitten, and ready to embrace the sport. I've been offered a nice set of Ping i3's (not too sure the specific model) which the pro lends out odd, on occasion.
I look forward to reading through peoples forum posts.
