Heads up- NEW Mizuno MP 630 Driver-£60

This place has the same deal! Might be tempted to have a lash and see what they are like always admired them.

Mate of mine got one a few months back, and loves his. Probably helps that he got down from 13 to 8 after he bought it.:) Not so pleased that he paid nearer full price for it though.

Is that the fasttrack or normal?
Anyone experience of the fast track? Not a fan of interchangeable gizmos but the 445cc head is very tempting, will try at ag today, reduced from £349 to £99 it would be rude not to.

I've got the Fastrack and it's very good. The adjustment feature is is very simple, being just moveable weights on the sole. Very quick to adjust and don't need a special tool if you lose the one that it comes with.....as it's an Allen key.
You can move the weights forward to reduce launch angle and backspin, or move them backwards to increase it.

You can also move them towards the heel for a draw, or to the toe for a fade, or you can place them in-between, ie hi draw, low draw, high fade, low fade.

Very effective.

Thanks for the heads up OP, unfortunately for my wallet this is just what I was looking for!

Your welcome, tried the non fast track today and it was very good with the standard fubuki stiff shaft, 9.7 degree launch and 2500 spin. Just need to find that spec online as that's too good a deal not to go for.

I've got the fast track version too.

Nice driver, i'm not long but it gets it out there. The shaft is a bit shorter than a lot of other drivers. My mate had a crack with it today a he hits a long ball and we noticed that his ping rapture was at least a couple of inches longer as was the TM Burner of the other member of our 3 ball.
It sits a bit open so if you've a bit of a hook this helps.

I've never understood why Mizuno drivers are not more popular, i had the mp600 before and that was a nice club too.

The local pro shops up here are doing it for £99 but they were only selling then £150 when i got mine when it came out.

my eyes are opened also away from Titleist which I've used badly these last 5 years.

Apart from the weights is there much difference between the 2 heads, Mark Crossfield said the non fast track is a GI club

I think the fast track has a smaller head as well a slightly different shape.

Does this mean it could be suitable for the mid - high handicapper even with the slightly open face?

The Mp were aimed at the low ish handicapper, but no reason you shouldn't give one a go. I'm not sure the no fast track version has an open face, but if it does i wouldn't advise it if you are a slicer!!!:)

What spec are you looking for then? I ordered the 12* stiff, my first stiff shaft so didn't want to go too low loft.

It was the 9.5* stiff I tried, but that launch of 9.6 is too low so will prob get a 10.5* stiff, at that price why not.
