Hi,

at the moment I play off 26, this was the H/C the club gave me , I enter comps and still have the same H/C for the time being.

Anyway today I went out and had a cracking round at a diffrent course, the course in my opinion is easier as it does not punish you as much for a bad shot. Shot 46 way out and 44 back in total of 90 and 41 pts.

My question is , i don't think I am a bandit as I put every card in during comps at my club and have never scored anything like this , How do you/would you alter your h/c at diffrent courses ?

It may sound stupid but should you keep a offical h/c for your own club and then have another one where every card gets put in on one of those score tracker things? You then use this h/c at the other courses.

Cheers

41 points of a 26 handicap is not being a bandit. You have to compare the SSS for the course you found easier with your home course, you will probably find it is lower.

If you are entering cards from competition play and your handicap has not been reduced, or, gone up , then you are playing to that standard.
