And what did you think?

Even if you haven't, put your club down and see what others think of it!

Taunton and Pickeridge.
We have a very good reputation around here, but would be interested as to what others thought.

I'd be interested to see what people think of the "2010" at celtic. I played it last week and place it at the top of my list

The 2010 is a good course - some good holes but certainly played better.

Played 2010, lucky on corporate day so we had facility to ourselves on a shot-gun format. Heard some horror stories re slow rounds on general play though so doubt I'd go back now I have been spoiled!

I thought they had a lot of marshalls.

SLOOOOOWWWWW and the marshals must have been taught by the stazi, expensive and an forgetable course in some areas, some good holes but just a corporate money maker now,but ticked of the list and not to be visited again.

I played your course on the way back from Saunton Golf Club and I really enjoyed it. I was joint 2nd out of our group of 24 players with 35 points. The stand out thing I always remember was the excellent welcome from the Pro who gave us some course tips prior to going out, I remembered the tip about the 17th and aimed for the funny shaped tree, those that forgot either got wet or were cut off by the pond, I nearly found that tree again on the 18th as my ball rolled down the steep bank, luckily I still found the green with my 2nd. I had a great birdie on the hole that has that huge ravine just before the green, I think it was a par5.

Great course and one I'd happily play again.

Wow. We had the course to ourself and it was in great condition too. We played it off the blue tournament tee's and it still only took us 4 hours. i did object to paying £7.30 for a ready made ham sandwich and £3.70 for a glass of coke. I just filled up on m&m's instead. It was a nice touch having your clubs Cleaned after but is that just a plot to keep you in the canteen
Buying £7:30 ham sandwiches!

Have played Oake Manor, and Burnham & Berrow on the way down to Saunton, so might try your course next time I am down that way. East Devon and Ilfracombe also on the radar.

Quite a few on here I have played my course. It is in great nick at the moment, though the rough is starting to get a tad thick.:(

The 11th is the one with the revine! Been in there many a time. Well done on the birdie there too! Deserved SI 2.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I also played Oake Manor on 1 of our excursions to Saunton and we'll never go back! It was late March, the weather was excellent, the course was in perfect condition and yet they still had a mat on EVERY hole! 24 of us with food booked and no pre-advisement we were playing off 100% mats on a shortened course which was totally unnecessary, especially as we found out they were being taken up the next-day (Saturday)

I also love your course Richard, for obvious reasons being my first ever experience on a heathland course and winning H4H's :whoo:

No, I've not played it yet, even though it's relatively close.

East Devons my track, and I know not to many on here have played it.
