Has anyone got any...................

Raised bed is about 0.5 metres high, by 2.5 metres long by 1m wide, two of them. But then I am putting black sheets down over an area of 15 metres by 6 metres and covering it with bark chips.

The costs just add up really.

Then I need some shrubs to hide the veg area.

Then I need a third set of patio furniture to put on the bark.

And another barbeque. (which will be a proper fire hazard sat on a load of bark and wood chip).

Then some potted trees and shrubs.

It is never ending.

If that's the good news............. ;)

Im 'hopefully' getting a new (well new to me) car tonight :D

I was going to ask for some advice on here but couldnt think of any reputable second hand car dealers who's brain I could pick :D :D ;)

Been with my present club for 22 years, after being threatened with physical abuse on our course by a new member, and after I walked off the course at the 12th green / 13th tee, my club banned me for 2 games,My good news is, I've just put in a membership form at another local club...Leasowe G.C. just have to wait and see......

Deadlifted 167.5kg this morning, beating PB by 5KG
Wow, Thats good going. I'm not a weightlifter by any means (don't know the first thing about it) but while I was at the allotment last night my mate joked "I bet you can't lift 4 bags of compost", well never one to turn down a challenge I had a go. I wrapped my arms around them and managed to get them to my chest and stand up tall, It must have been 100kg and it felt like my limit, so good on ya mate top PB.

Good news eh..

Well..

I've got a new haircut which makes me look even more gorgeous than before!! Hard to believe, I know!! How does one improve perfection?? Well, it's been done..

Palace stayed up!!

The only way is Essex has finished.

I'm finally on the verge or sorting out my bag roll.

It's £107,000,000 rollover on Friday night and it's mine - ALL MINE - MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..

One more pooh round and I can settle in to the rest of the year off 4 , cant come too soon (saturday actually). Then its off to my new club with a new h/c to meet some new friends and start enjoying golf again.

I look forward to the invite to see the new course :)

Won my first club match last week, won my match 2 up and club won 4-2 overall. Met some more members and am finally feeling more like a member of a club rather than somewhere I go to play golf.

Got a 2 in last weeks comp after sinking a 30ft put from off the green to win a few quid.

Got a ticket to see Tigers v Saints in the Premiership play off semi on Saturday and a pink ticket to go on the beers after

I wheel barrowed 1 cubic metre of top soil from the road outside my house to the top of my garden last night, which took 2 hours, and only once twisted my ankle on the steps.

Bad news, there's another 2 cubic metres left to do tonight / tomorrow.

2 hours ffs

Was it a kids barrow?

Andy

My mum is getting over her infection and is less confused and taking her medication and eating better. Not golf related but hey, it's taken a weight off my shoulders. Not out of the woods as she is still wobbly and a bit forgetful but 100% times better than this time last week where I was in A&E with her

It's not enormous, but then I am 11 stone wringing wet, and not built for manual labour. My garden isn't ecactly small either, and it's all up hill.
