upton by chester or eastham golf course?

both very similar on price and alot better value to what i previously nearly joined

so just wondering what opinions others have of the courses, as this week is hard to find the time go and play

Played both, eastham I've only played once, but took the driver to it and failed miserably. It is short from memory, but not worth paying more than £25 in my opinion.

I would like to play it again but would not say it was a priority.

Upton was enjoyable and I think feels longer, and has 3 par 5's. Seemed tight also but definitely an extra 1 or 2 out of 10 than Eastham lodge.

i am leaning more towards upton, my darts captain is also a member there, and the more par 5's is helping my decision

any more opinions on the courses?

popping into upton today to get an application from and have a little nosey, hearing tonys thoughts on both course looks like upton by chester will be the one, harder than eastham so will better serve me to getting better

Upton it is nipped in to pick up the forms and was given a tour of the club house, and the practice areas i cant wait to get started

Alltho i have missed the winter league i can sign up to be a sub and they run other comps aswell
