After last summer when i think i only broke 100 once and it felt like i played out of my skin to do it and struggled at being so inconsistent with nearly every shot i'm finally starting play some proper golf and it i feel comfortable with my swing.

My last 4 rounds have been, 96,92,93 round my own course and a 97 round Rockliffe Hall today which is pretty tough course and i still feel like i can easily knock a few shots of my PB of 93.

I parred the 3 hardest holes at Rockliffe today which was nice and had a couple of par putts and a birdie putt lip out.

My aim for the year was to get down to a 20 handicap but it looks like i may have to aim a little lower :)

Just can't wait to april so i can enter my first comps and finally get my handicap.

Well done matey and just think how much easier it will be with run on the ball and decent greens to putt on. I think you'll get to your target easily

To be honest the greens at my local course are in pretty good nick apart from a few patches of snow/frost burn? (i think thats what they call it) and one or two of the tees are pushed forward a little on winter tees but the distance you gain from the tee's being forward i can make up in summer when the fairways are dry and you get some run.

Another plus point about playing well is that it's saving me a fortune on balls! I could guarantee i would loose atleast a couple of balls a round whereas i have only lost one in the last 4 rounds so it's a good sign i'm keeping it in play alot more.

I just hope the good form lasts till april when i enter my first comps.

Good consistent scoring. More importantly is you believe you can go lower which means you probably will.

Thanks, it's just strange that i've gone from being really inconsistent, scoring antyhing from 110 or so down to 96 then the next round scoring around 110 again, but over the last 4 rounds it just all of a sudden seems alot easier and i'm scoring under 100 and i still feel like i can easily knock a good 5 or so shots off.
