Happy Thursday

McDonnell says "we are near the centre ground" not hard left!
That was the most comical thing of this whole election. A more centrist position with a different leader and with some of the policies in their manifesto and they may caused an upset.

To be potentially facing their worst result since the 1930s could be hugely damaging for years to come

Exit polls are suggesting thus, it was merely mentioned upon the great twitteraty.

It comes from a Laura Jayes on twitter that says.....Tory insiders are telling me Boris Johnson could “genuinely be in trouble in #UxbridgeAndSouthRuislip”.

Exit pollsters think the Lib Dem vote has collapsed there probably due to tactical voting for Labour

Exit polls says 99% chance of Tory hold

I heard that last night and was quite surprised by his reply. I think it tells you more where his true feelings are, very very far left. Hope labour party/unions do not just blame this just on brexit and they learn from it and rebuild.

Would have expected Lib dems to have gained more if purely down to Brexit remain.

Don't think there is a place for anything apart from 'slightly off/left/right' of centre currently in the country.

IIRC wasn't it Blair who said something like 'You cant make a difference unless you are in power' (or was it someone else)

Does that in itself not tell a story? The people voted for Brexit and its now going to get done. Old Maggie would have had Europe coming to her with a deal, not the other way around.

Interesting times ahead. Only problem/negative for me is I can't ever see Boris giving Scotland another vote on independence.

Bitter socialist views as usual from you.

Stick to telling us that the Nativity plays in schools are wrong.

?? Don't think my post was like that  and never even read the nativity thread, am I missing something ?
