"Happy Gilmore" off the tee at PGA on sunday

I'd love to know if he did it out of pique and or just a what the hell, let's entertain the crowd? Hopefully the latter. He some some bottle anyway.

The manner of it looks fairly disrespectful to the tournament etc.

To be done for entertainment it needed a preamble.

Poor form unless the context is not shown here to prove otherwise

LOL exactly- calm down it's a golf swing not a political statement!!!

If his driver had been off all tournament maybe he thought what the heck I wanna try something else

It was probably an illustration that he had made a conscious and deliberate decision to play with a more care free attitude perhaps to find his game since he was a long way back in last place

Maybe he had become to tight and mechanical and needed to break the shackles - it worked, he shot a 66 fair play to him

Not sure you could say it's poor form... it's only a golf swing?

Certainly not something to get irate over. More dissaponted as it may not be showing respect to the organisers and FCs.

Unless of course the clip puts the actions into context which shows otherwise.

I'm torn. Good fun but and huge respect for trying it but perhaps should have played properly. What if it had gone horribly wrong. The fact he shot 66 shows he can play a bit and yes he came last but not sure the last round is the place for this

Excellent work! Maybe it should be compulsory on the 1st tee at every Pro tournament from now on. Certainly liven things up a bit.
Ryder Cup would be awesome with this as a compulsory rule.
