FWIW, it was a watchable “classic Sandler” movie. The golfers cameos were great, lots of other cameos too.

The concept of the “new style” golf was well executed drawing comparison with both LiV and TGL

I commented in the films thread. I wasn't expecting an Oscar winner, but it certainly gave a few chuckles. Some of the cameos were excellent. Others were very wooden.

It did seem to be a bit of a LIV parody, but also they had two LIV golfers on the "good guys" team, so I wonder if they realised..

Watched it tonight.

Basically just as silly as the 1st one with some good laughs but with a lot more cameos. A couple of the one liners about the golfers, and Scottie in the prison cell were gold though.

Yeah there’s a strange dynamic there; I do wonder if Brooks and BDC realised fully they’d be playing characters that were saving the traditional tour from the “evil” brash upstart golf league funded by a wealthy backer .

Plenty of non-golfing cameos too! Eminem was great as the annoying guy, fighting alligators

Plenty checked and then realised the original was released a year before he was born.

It’s actually very enjoyable. They could’ve released it as a double bill with the film
