Just got text from my mate asking if I fancied entering this on the 22nd of March.

Has anybody played course? Would you recommend it ? I know it's down east coast which is usually great for golf (I played whitekirk last week and conditions thru there were night and day compared to courses thru here at tho moment ) but is haddington not a parkland course and likely to be in similar conditions to rest of the courses further inland just now after all this pants weather

Played it in wet weather, pure parkland as you suggest, I enjoyed it, plays as you see it, not tricked up. Enough room off the tee, fair test and very scoreable if you keep it on the fairways. Was a little standing water but seemed to drain ok. Soft greens = target golf!

Just paid my fees for new club yesterday and waiting on a fixture diary , so I'll check to see what's planned for that day at our club then make a decision. If you were talking about a round you've had there recently then it sounds a bit more promising than I thought it might.
