Power is an asset in golf, strength much less so. My size (125 kgs) certainly does not help my flexibility.
I can't think of anything more wrong than spending time in a room full of sweaty men, well unless you like that kinda thing.
How many people who go the gym, train in specific ways that it will benefit your game?
I go to the gym but find myself just plodding around doing bits and bobs so I got one of the PT intsructors to put a circuit together mainly on core strentgh to help me hit the ball harder and become more agile.
Some of the excercises are tough but fun.
Do they come in salt and vinegar and cheese and onion?Woodchops are good for golf.

wot exercises do you do? i work for a leisure trusts but cant get the instructors to do me a programme cos they are miserable
