My understanding is that the train was indeed 'overcrowded' for part of the journey but that she did get a (1st Class) seat (not ticket) for another part of it. And indeed, (over)full trains are 'better' for the environment than mainly empty ones!

Just shows how a situation can be described or interpreted differently!

Btw. Here's what I got when I googled 'Breitbart' (the source of the report)...

So not a 'German newspaper' either! And possibly even further 'to the right' than the Daily Wail!

As above, past experience the "look at me, sitting on the floor of a train" publicity stunt isn't that successful.

And as for Brietbart then they are an alt-right organisation that promotes stuff by climate change deniers. If you want to use that as evidence to back up any claims then fair enough, I'll just be treating it with a pinch of salt.
