Greensomes tomorrow

One of the guys is playing off 10 and the other off +1.

Assume for handicap it is 10 x 0.4 and +1 x0.6 which is taken from the 4 to leave 3.4.

Please confirm

In our greensome comps, it's half the combined handicap which would be +1 and 10 which would give you 9 shots. Half of that = 4.5 which is 5 shots.

Might be different at your place though.

HRC, sure you're not thinking foursomes ? Greensomes is allowance is definitely the lower handicap x 0.6 plus higher handicap x 0.4

I'm not saying that I'm right. I'm just saying that we played greensomes the other weekend and that's how it was calculated for us. It might well be just how our club does it.
