Great forum

I think the forum is great with lots of informative threads and a relaxed way to discuss anything golf related, the only thing I have been surprised about is there is no separate section on the forum where new members can introduce themselves and possibly welcomed by other forum members. On another site that I use ( not golf related) they have a section called "the place" where new people are welcomed in with the opportunity to say a few words about them selves. Perhaps this would be a good idea for the future?

It has been mentioned before (even by me at one point!) and I think the bossman MikeH has said he would prefer for folk to introduce themselves in the main lounge section of the forum.

He might even poke his nose in here to elaborate if he sees it

Welcome, and best of etc, but I would guess most of the guys (girls too) on here would never visit this section.
