Alright guy's
my first post just to say hello
Ive been reading up on a lot of post's and there's a lot of good info and tip's
on the forum and hopefully i can get some help myself .
And my god do i need it:D

Cheer's homer
Well i live in glasgow, so i play most of the of the public course's
Ive never really had a handicap, ive been around some courses in 79 , and 77
but more often go around in low 80's. I played golf year's ago but gave it up
because i was crap to be fair but playing a bit better now.
I'd love to be able to hit a longer drive that's my aim this year
the club's i use are
taylormade rbz 10.5 driver / rbz 3 wood / rbz no 3 rescue / burner 2.0 4 to sand 54 and 60 vokeys and a odyssey backstrike putter

Thank's guy's

As for where i play well the courses i got the 77 and the 79 on where lethamhill and linn park
and a few other's

Lethamhill is a good track mate, the first course I played.Well done for shooting a 77 there! Are you thinking of joining anywhere soon?

I doubt i'll be joining anywhere for a wee while just became unemployed
so every penny count's at the moment although that's not to say
i wont be wanting to buy some golf gear lol
I was thinking about getting rid of my rbz gear
i had a shot of a friend's titleist 910 d2 driver the other day and hit the longest drive ive ever hit
in my life maybe not aslong as some of you guy's on here but must have been 250 and that's a long driver for me.

The 910 d2 is a good club, but instead of getting rid of your(surely quite new?) RBZ,why don't you get a few lessons? The temptation to always buy new stuff plagued me for a while but I am now hitting my older clubs really well.

Deke your right there mate ive never had a lesson before and to be honest i could do with a few.
Ive been hitting my driver and 3 wood closer to the heel of the club just off centre
it's killing my distance for sure but dont know how to correct it

I am overdue a few myself chief! Get a few lessons under your belt, cheaper than new gear and better for your game.

I will do mate .
Have you any idea where a good pro is to get lesson's?
I was looking into it a few week's ago but got put off by a friend
he said the guy was just telling everyone to do the same thing
rather than look at their swing and fix what they had
he was just trying to make them do something else

George at Mearns Castle was a good teacher and the guys at World Of Golf in Clydebank were also pretty helpful. Most clubs have their own teaching pro.Have a look at the groupon website sometimes they do great deals on buying multiple lessons.Good luck!
