GPS or Rangefinder??

I finaly took the plunge and bought a sky caddie SG5. I've used one before but I now have my own. I have used it once, (2nd time later today) so here's hoping I have made a good buy! I'm enjoying it so far!
I cant hold a lazer steady enough, so thats why I went for the sky caddie.

My Garmin GPS watch went flat last time I played 3/4 of the way round and up until then didn't realise how much I had been relying on it. Brilliant piece of kit in my opinion.
