GPS in Competition Question

I may be wring on this one and I've still to decide which DMD I'm going for, but doesn't the Sono play-back your round? This should be useful for putting your round and stats into your favourite tracker software (I use MyGolferslife.com). I generally just try and remember where my shots went, (eg FW, left, right etc) which only works if I'm saving the stats soon after playing, which is not always possible.

Take your pick

Sold!

Just ordered the V300 on Amazon. It should arrive before my game on Wednesday; that's got to be worth 10 shots surely?

Decided on the V300 instead of the Autoplay for the course overview and round "playback" options.

Browsing through the 2 websites, it looks like some of the local courses that I may play are not listed or incomplete on the Sonocaddie

Ie Chartridge Park Chesham and Wexham Park near Slough.

At least that is according to the website
Anyone have a Sono that uses either of these courses?

At the moment edging towards the Skycaddie on availability of courses

SC is only cheaper if you plan on buying a new unit after 2 years, which seems a pretty short term view for an expensive piece of kit. Sono wins hands down for me

OK But if it doesn't hold the courses I want, then it is no good for me.

Im not overly concerned with price

Im not going to travel further just because one course in on Sono and the other not.

(Between the lines, Fragger really wants a Sono, but thinks he will have to opt for the Sky to get the courses he needs)

the last software update to SC added the scoring capability (though it's an extra at the moment I don't doubt it will be included soon) but from the comments your lil' bro has made you really need an abacus. :p

Fragger eventually got off the fence and purchased a Skycaddie
should arrive Thursday,
then a crash course on how to use the chuffing thing before the weekly trouncing from Imurg (with his old irons) :D
