There is a premier inn in Chichester gate (google that) which is close to Goodwood or the Chichester Park Hotel (even closer). You may get a good deal at the Goodwood hotel but I doubt it.

I play the course regularly as my dad is a member there and also played a society day there last week. If I still lived in Portsmouth that's where i would join

I love the course (don't know the weak holes others are going on about) and everything about the club oozes class.

HOWEVER, for what it's trying to (and could) be the Conditioning lets it down massively, I've never played it with excellent greens and it often seems scruffy. My dads had a number of conversations with the green keepers and it seems as though they have a similar problem as wentworth in that bent grass just doesn't work over here.

Regardless I'd say it's worth the trip, play the park course the day before (better than both the chichesters IMO) as you'll get a great deal.

Yes, it's nice. Some lovely views too. Is it worth the drive? Depends how far we are talking!

Agree it's very nice....make sure you have a caddy that knows where you get shots!
