Played today in beautiful weather, days like this make this game so enjoyable.

Shot 83(+12) 41 points---could have been better--missed a 6 footer for birdie on 17 and a three footer for par on 18, off set by a 30 footer for par on 16.

Hopefully tomorrows game will be as good.

I played 9 holes tonight and had a mare. Lost 4 balls including 2 hooked left on the 1st, one into the environmental area hooked off the tee again on 3 and one the par 5 5th where I took a 5 iron out of the semi rough for safety and hit it slightly right towards the light rough never to be seen again . Tempo was very quick, hence the lefts all the time but there were a few good shots mixed in especially around the greens.

I've got my 2nd round summer knockout tomorrow so was hoping for more of a confidence boost but we'll see what happens on the day.
