Sorry to the poster of the "Bad Day" thread as I'm going to hi-jack it slightly with my "Good Day" thread.

I played in yesterdays medal and shot +2 which included a quadruple bogey 8 on the eighth and three, three putts. I hit the ball solidly enough however I was more impressed with my mental game where I never let my head go down and battled back, comming home in -2, 3 birdies and a silly 3 putt bogey on the 14th. That said, our greens are still not great and my first putt on 14 bouncd about six inches in the air which caused it to come up short.

A good start to the season with a 0.3 break, and I'm not sure about that quadruple bogey as someone in the clubhouse believed that this will become a double bogey for handicap purposes, however someone else said that does not apply to CAT1 golfers, either way its a positive start to the season and takes me closer to my season goal of finishing on a 3 handicap.

(PS, thanks for the couple of tips Bob! You would think that your a pro or something!)

Congrats Craw, great point about keeping your head up after a bad shot or hole. I think Tiger gives himself 20 seconds of thought on a bad or good shot then moves on forgetting it to concentrate on the next.
