Good day for the Scots

I wasn't going to reply to the original thread comment but wondered what Mr Lawrie had been doing for all this years in between.
I hardly think he can be called a better player than Westwood who I recall has won the odd title or 2 more than Lawrie
He's a bit in the Curtis and Hamilton mould. Struck it lucky for a day

can you imagine that, being great for one day,and then being
that crap for nearly a lifetime, and winning again, you could
not make it up..these people are gods

not winning, but earning a penny or two all the same, I could cope with that.

More importantly, I need LAird to restore my Paddy Power account to profit. I started the season with £50, and after the WGC matchplay it reached the dizzy heights of £65, it's now floundering at £14 but I've got Laird at 40/1 e/w

Very good win for Lawrie today.

Fair enough a few years since his last Tour victory but there won't be many guys turn pro off a 5 h/c and have the kind of career he's had.

Bet you wish you'd had him to win, now! ;)

I wish I'd had a tenner rather than a measly £1 e/w ! Still, £52 win has restored my Paddy Power account to profit.
