Just before the end of January, I bought myself a new piece of kit - I'd won a few quid in the Christmas draw so thought what the heck I'll blow it.

Since I got it, I've been scoring really well - especially as I'd been struggling all last year. I barely had a points score out of the 20's for nearly the whole of last year. In the last 5 weeks, I've had my best two scores for about 18 months - 38 & 39 points. And I've only had one score less than 30 in that time - and that was on the day I forgot to take it with me.

So, was it a good buyand money well spent? Or just a coincidence?

By the way, the kit was an electric golf trolley...

a three wheeler push trolly was the best pruchase i made last year. looking back i cant believe i used to lug the clubs around on two wheels like a fool. makes life so much easier!

agree with the statements above. Until you get one you dont realise maybe the extra energy youhave left and maybe it helps you keep your concentration better

i got a 3 wheel push trolley last year and i was amazed how much easier it was. far superior to the 2 wheel versions and i much prefer using a trolley now to carrying.
Leccy one on the wants list!

On a hilly or wet/soft soiled course I believe a trolley is worth at least 2 shots a round for cat 1 and poss more for other categories.

trolly is a must for me, i slipped 2 dics in my back a few years ago and while fine now i find i get far less stiff after a round with a trolly im only 25

Got the Go-Kart when I was diagnosed with diabetes. Was always struggling towards the end of rounds and made loads of mistakes through physical and mental fatigue. Doesn't help 16 being a really tight hole and 17 a 20+ par 3.

Since the switch I feel fresher, can pack more fluids and food in without feeling like a sherpa and seem to play better throughout. Funnily enough I carried on Saturday and played mediocre (29 points) and trollied on Sunday and had 32 buthit it much better and had a "couldn't score" round. Definitely something in it for me

Been carrying all winter but just beginning to think seriously about getting the electric trolly in use. Finding I'm getting weary on the last four holes. As for improving my scores pigs will probably fly.
