Golfbuyitonline

I bought a stand bag from them a few months ago and had no problems, delivery was on the day they said it would be so no complaints.

Did think they seemed a bit on the expensive side for a few clubs I was looking at at the time, but that might just be chance.

Cheers for the help.

Guess i can go ahead and buy my items thanks for the help.

Oh 1 last thing what sites on the web does everyone use for buying stuff of the web and what do you recommend?

Many thanks

I don't buy much kit over the internet as I prefer to try before I buy and try and utilise my club pro where possible. THe only purchases of note are golf shirts (usually adidas) and get mine from golfonline.co.uk or onlinegolf.co.uk

Whatever you do please don't use 118Golf. They will tell you an item is in stock and then have to order it directly from the manufacturer so there is usually a two week minimum delay and there have been instances with others on here of faulty and incorrect items being sent.

oooo Thanks telling me nearly bought something of there about a week ago but wasnt to sure because im a bit hmmm and arrrr about buying of web to be honist thats why i asked about this site but seems you are ok with the site i would like to use.

I would like to use my club pro but i dont think he likes the business he always mardy and doesnt really help you so i offen end up shopping else were.

Yes I have had experience of them... They are good if they stock the item but as normal there website is incapable of telling you if the item is in stock and so you order and then wait for them to buy off the manufacture and then send you it out.

It all started four days before I was going on holiday at the beginning of the month. I was approved to buy some new golf shoes so started with… I know from previous experience 118Golf!! I ordered them on Tuesday evening and paid extra for next day delivery expecting them on the Thursday. The next day I thought I best check with them knowing what they are like, and yes you guessed it they where out of stock and made no attempt to contact me regardless of the next day £15 extra payment. Anyway I then ordered from Golfbuyitonline which I have had good experience in the past and paid an extra tenner for delivery on the Thursday. The shoes arrived and all was good, until I was on holiday playing a round when I noticed the side of a shoe the glue had come away from the sole, this I thought wasn’t too bad but would send them back once I returned from this joyous time, but them the cleats started coming off and once put back on where loose and not something you would expect from a top brand.

So the first day back (Saturday) from our great jollies I send the fault shoes back at my own expense, I then just give them a quick call on the Monday expressing my need for the shoes before Friday, I know I was asking a lot but it was a big day. I was promised and told different stories about the shoes, anyway they didn’t arrive. I then chased up this last Monday asking if the shoes have now been sent and was promised again they had been sent on that day only to chase up yesterday and find them not sent again and out of stock, they kindly offered to send the white and black ones because there was no difference to which I was at the end of my teather and replied "One is black and one is brown, how the hell are they the *polite phrase instead* flipping same… I cancelled the order and thought bollox to them and ordered a pair of white Ecco Classic GTX from Clubhouse golf for next day delivery so I could wear them this weekend. Being at work and stressed I changed my mind to black which they said where in stock and sat back expecting them today, yes you guessed it…

I feel like crying, someone hold me. All I want is a pair of shoes.

Rant over.

ps. Clubhouse golf where great and it was part my fault the mistake and then I ordered the Ecco Ultra Performace on the Friday and arrived on the Monday morning as promised.

I buy virtually everything form there - although i'm lucky and only live 10 minutes away.

The guys are always very helpful andd friendly and will allways price match if you see it cheaper.

Their turnover is huge and due to exchange rates etc do a very large ammount of trade to european countries.

I've always found them to be honest and reliable - you can always ring them for a price check and stock check - 01443226901 - avoid any 0845 costs etc.

John.

Like John I live locally. They are based at Hensol Golf academy in south Wales. All the Sales staff there are PGA pro qualified, the same people selling you stuff, also give lessons on a proper range (not indoors)> If you call them they are always helpful and friendly.
