Golf Website Designer Needed

I have designed my own used irons website but realise that i will in time require a professionally looking site to make it a success.

A friend who is a web designer has offered to do me one for £1000

I have no idea whether that is a good price or not.

Can anybody advise,help or provide an alternative

If we are talking just about design - no programming of site - just plain html - it's a bit to much.

But it depends. If he is very good designer the price is worth it.

Well... I'm not author of golf articles. It seams to me that I don't have so good writer for my blogs.
I can't say that I have great grammar, but I'm great developer.
So please don't have "bad feelings" and so on.
Forget me and my websites... let's focus on AlchemyGolf's needs.

Go to 99designs.com and look some of the contests. After that launch your contest.
