Golf Tees, Favourite Brands or any suggestions on what to use and look out for?

I bought a pack of 4 tees back in June called ‘4 yards more’.
I’ve so far only used one, gave one to a mate and got 2 as spares.
Really easy to find and club friendly.
I want to say I’ve felt a benefit but maybe just coincidence.

While I dont put much store in the differences between brands themselves, the amount of energy that can end up lost in the friction between the ball and the tee as it launches is pretty high, reducing energy transfer, as well as introducing a random element to the spin axis itself. But can be reduced by carving a speed notch out of tees rather than leaving the full cup of the standard tee, and then positioning the notch in the direction of the shot. It doesnt even have to be alighned that perfectly to get most of the benefit, so it doesnt add to slow play at all. It wont transform your game, but for the few minutes invested in the use of a Stanley knife, the extra 8-10 yards is well worth it.
