Golf Tees, Favourite Brands or any suggestions on what to use and look out for?

Hi all,
I have been having some discussions with my pals and want to see what is the most popular Golf tee and why? One friend uses a tee based purely on the looks and the colours whilst another will use one plastic tee per round then throw it away at the end regardless.
What is everyone using and do you have any recommendations for funky golf tees that are under the radar?
Thanks
J

A tee is a tee isn't it? Favourite brands, really?? Ha.

I use orange barrel tees for my driver, and the small regular plastic tees for everything else. Usually I'll lose one tee every couple of rounds, so a bag of them lasts absolutely ages, probably 18 months before I have to buy a new bag of tees. As Jordan says above, I'd never throw one away unless it was bent and unusable. That's the advantage of plastic over wooden tees, which break every handful of shots.

My favourite was made of rubber with a plastic tip for digging in to the ground. The single tee lasted for 6 months until one day the rebound effect took out down a deep ravine just in front of the tee at one hole at West Wilts.

Currently using bees tees for driver simply because there were several packets in mixed bundle of golfing stuff bought off ebay.

Castle tees of mixed lengths for use off the mats simply because they actually stay upright.

The problem with plastic is they flex more and have a higher coefficient of restitution. Players with a higher swing speed need a stiffer flex tee.

Doesn't everyone go to a professional tee fitter to get their tees custom built?

Nobody has mentioned having a fitting yet?
Those who have had the benefit of a fitting just get laughed at on here - so we keep it to ourselves.
Once you have seen the significant gains, or losses, that can be associated with your exact tee height, and its impact on your strike and launch you will wonder why you waited.

It's usually the complementary branded tees for whichever course I'm playing

What really gets my goat is if we run out and have to call the course Marshall from the buggy screen for a restock, sometimes this can take up to 2 minutes and interups the flow of the game (this is probably why I'm not cat 1)

Just get them to run a few out with the beer order (y)

If this isn’t a set up for “well what do you think of these funky under the radar tees” I’ll be surprised

Anybody tried brush tees?
Yes I love them for driver (yellow) but they go out of shape and the ball wont stay on the brush after a couple of rounds.
But they do give you a consistent height.
I am thinking of going back to them this year.
They also stay in the ground so no searching for tees.
