has anyone tried one out, went to Lea Marston today and it was damn cold. Noticed thay had a simulator that could be hired by the hour.

my uni has one, am yet to try it as it costs 50qid for the hour.
I've been to Urban Golf in Kensington a few times and it is a laugh playing some of these top course Pebble Beach in the warm with your mates (and a beer or two) but it is quite expensive

Well, after a night of tremendous thunder and lightning we awoke to no power and 12 inches of snow, so no simulated golf today either. Took an hour to get to the village only to find both shops closed. Power back on, but no Sky signal so I can't even watch the golf.
God I hate winter.

Urban Golf is good, although the chipping and putting bits are not as good as the long game.

God I hate winter.
Managed to play 18 holes today, although the greens were frozen!
I suppose in the SOuth East we will get the snow in March like last year!
