Slight update. My daughter says he has wide feet (like me) so that rules out most of the Adidas range (from my experience).

Adidas’ standard fit has got a touch wider in the last couple of years. I thought I was wide in Adidas but I’m not (fitted by Adidas at the Adidas / golf monthly day)

definitely not.

The only golf shoes I can think of with an upper age limit are the Puma RSG and high tops. That's because they are so ugly, you have to be a fashion victim young enough to be forgiven for such a crime
