I think there was one or two on these boards that made their own training aid.

I have an idea but not much clue where to start. Right I’m thinking of getting a prototype made but haven’t a clue who would make it and what material to use.

Any advice or direction would be really helpful.

Hi.
Lots of questions to be considered I don't know where to start.
I think the best thing would for me to agree to a

Non-Disclosure Agreement
That way we can chat about your idea and I won't copy it.

Hi Bob. How does one do an NDA? At the moment I’m after general information about how one finds a manufacturer for a prototype, and how does one identify and trial different materials

That’s the kinda thing I’m after. I imagine you had an idea then how did you find the right people to make the prototype?

With the advent of 3D printing there are numerous companies out there (or maybe even a local technology college) who would be able to help with a prototype. Where about a are you based? I work for an electronics manufacturer and while a different industry we have a database of companies that maybe able to help

Depending on the complexity of it I run a sheet metal company so could possibly help if your product is from metal and your needing something as a sample.
