Doesn't seem to time out connections as quickly since the recent upgrade. I've been logged in all afternoon checking the forum occasionally and surprised a few times to see that I was still connected.
I never timed out prior to the upgrade, had to log out everytime. Since the upgrade it times out (but not happened today)

Something seems wrong with that figure. Wasn't the old record somewhere in the region of 500? I doubt that even our sparkling repartee would account for another 800+ people on the site.

If something has changed within the code of the pages then Googlebot would reindex the entire site. But there's still more members than usual (162) ... I reckon they're all TRYING to log-in

They're definately not posting. Maybe the site is not logging anyone out after they've left.
