Golf Monthly Magazine New Layout

OK, were all creatures of habit to a degree and just like when reaching for my newspaper I tend to skip to the back pages first or when I manage to get hold of the remote control I always flick and start from a particular channel number, so, when this month's edition hit the floor and I ripped the cellophane away and immediately went to the back 19th Hole and forum section, it was gone

We have a new look magazine which, at face value looks like it has more content, or is it a supermarket trick with the same contents just moved around a bit :smirk:

I couldn't find the 'forum page' at first as it doesn't get a mention in the contents section which didn't jump out at me, I personally don't think all the different colours make anything stand out, it all looked too blended, but that's just me. Still haven't found the 19th Hole with details of what has happened at clubs?

Because of the 'New Look' I'll probably read more of the magazine this month and not do as I previously did, flick past areas to get to others, so........well done on the new look, I'll give it a good read and come back and report my findings, no doubt as others will do also :thup:

A month till my first subscription issue - I was a little surprised it took so long to activate

Your new forum page is on p20 this month, and the club focus has found its way onto p48 in this issue.

As Mike says in his eds letter, the new look mag should deliver more value for your money and a lot of the changes were driven by your collective feedback.

We're all looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new look GM!

Looking forward to getting my copy. I for one am glad to see some change. Having read the magazine for the last 5 or so years, the changes to lay out etc keep it a fresh read. If everything stayed the same, I suspect that I would have got bored of it after a few years and looked elsewhere for a change.

Just had a quick flick through the new issue, and I really like it. Maybe it's just because it's new, but it seems fresher and a lot more energetic. Then it all goes downhill when you open up to page 127 and see Birchy's mug gurning back at you

we aim to have all subscriber copies delivered before it goes on general sale (for this issue that's Thursday) but we are the mercy of royal mail. Would hope youd have it tomorrow

the iPad edition is released into the GM newsstand shell app on the date of general sale (so Thursday)
