we are recruting for a designer/senior designer to start on January 1, 2012.

Job: Designer/senior designer (job title subject to experience)
Brand: Golf Monthly
Location: Blue Fin Building, Central London
Hours: Permanent, Full Time hours
Role reports to: Art Editor

Desired Skills & Experience
We’re looking for a flexible team player who can work well under pressure, design eye-catching pages and translate brand concepts from print across to digital platforms. Candidates should have masses of creative potential, an excellent attention to detail, ability to retouch and work with images in Photoshop and strong typographic skills.
You will be proficient in InDesign and Photoshop and be able to prepare complete digital pages. Video editing using iMovie would be desirable while an understanding of, or better still an interest in, golf, would give you a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:
Reporting to the Art Editor you will be able to produce a variety of pages, from product and technique to features and news. You will also be editing videos using iMovie and designing elements and franchises for our digital channels. The successful candidate will also be expected to produce complete digital pages and assist in the uploading of content for the iPad edition.
This is a demanding but rewarding role, and presents a great opportunity for a driven, creative individual to work in a dynamic team contributing to a brand with history and a clear vision of how to grow its audience across both print and digital platforms
