i have weighed up the pros and cons and believe that the pros outweigh the cons and therefore would like the get some golf insurance.
Could anyone recommend any good insurance companies and if possible tell me of their past experiences as i am just interested :)

I just had a claim with them, absolutely first class. They let me send them pictures of stuff that was missing and then allowed me to go thru my local pro for replacement kit. Needless to say i was my local pro's best friend that week!!!

First class service resolved within 10 days.

I am thinking of getting some insurance now, we have had a couple of cars being broken into at the golf club.

I presume my contents insurance on the home wouldn't cover this or my car insurance?

normal car insurance will cover you for around a few hundred pounds (i'm admiral), my home insurance will only cover my clubs in the event of them being stolen/damaged (lloyds tsb)from my property.

at between £2-£4 a month for specific golf insurance i think its got to be in everyones locker. It saved my life!!! No way could i have afforded to replace my stolen kit. Would have been cheap 2nd hand stuff from e-bay. Instead i ended up with £2500 to spend in my local pro shop.
