Golf insurance....

Golf care for me, cheap as chips

I was with Golf Care Sam and my renewal came through yesterday for £44.99, after a comparison on the link above, I've got everything I need for £22.99, what are you paying with GC?

Am sure its about the same as you are paying now, been with them a couple of years now. I was with the golfers club but their fees kept going up.

Fish I have been with Golfers club and they did the same £29 up to £45 so phone call made kicking off saying I am not prepared to pay more than £30 for insurance for the year and within 1 minute it was back to £29 for the year. Don't put up with a hike.

Just a quick one on this subject lads. If you are unlucky enough to have your gear nicked out of the shed would you claim from the golf insurance or the home insurance? Just wondering which one would pay out with the minimum of fuss in your experience? I have both and God forbid something like that would happen but it would be a dilemma.

I'll vote with my feet, that way they will hopefully see they are not retaining customers without showing any loyalty towards existing customers. This would have been my 3rd year so they are the losers.

If any company just reduced their fee like that on a whim, I wouldn't be interested, if they can afford to do that then, they should do it from the off.

I think you could struggle with home contents with some companies unless you have them declared your clubs as a specific high value item over £1k and have possibly paid an extra couple of quid.

Not for me, my golf insurance doesn't cover sheds, well worth having a proper read of the small print.

Same view as me for any insurances. Hacks me off no end.

That would depend on your home insurance policy. Many people think they are covered but I have never known anyone be paid from the home insurance. The golfers club insurance is up to £500 from the car but it must be locked and covered and if the break in is between 10pm and 8am then you will get nothing!
