Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any recommedations for buying golf insurance?

Golfcare seem to pop up a lot and seem fairly cheap - anyone had any experiences with these?

Thanks

Good question, was wondering myself.

My club membership comes with a standard £3 golf insurance, so I guess that covers the basics, such as one of my booming hooks knocking someone out!

Golf care seem to have a crazy offer at the moment, 3 free rounds of golf on a choice of what look like decent courses, all for only £22.49, less than the cost of one round, let alone three!

Surely there must be some catch somewhere? At the very least I suspect you won't get that deal if you re-sign every year, and I wouldn't be surprised if you can only have your free rounds in the winter... that said, the flyer in this month's mag doesn't have any small print, so perhaps the deal really is as good as it says...

That GolfCare offer has been around at least 18 months.
The courses are all 'hotel' courses, mid week, I think 'if taken as part of a four-ball'(all paying full whack in the region of £60+), and not too many near enough to me.
