Golf Course near Limerick

Not sure if anyone on the forum will know or if anyone is from the area.

Hoping to have a spare day based near Limerick, for a round of golf, 9 holer or 18 holer.

After any suggestions within 15-30 minutes drive, not a expensive course, would ideally love a hilly course or a course with views, maybe elevated tees, something that makes you go wow on the tee and not fuss about how unkempt or not it is.

Been a while since I was there... two I played close to Limerick were Dromoland Castle... was good but bet it's pricey now, and Limerick County... which was ok but cant remember too much about it.

Adare is silly money .. google castletroy ive never played it but only heard good things about it its bout 15min from limerick i think . Kid2 is from limerick but hasnt bn on in a long time
